Birth Photography
I consider myself a pioneer in the field of birth photography.
It has become one of my greatest adventures.
It started over 7 years ago with an epiphany after the birth of our last child. Our oldest one, then 10 years old, asked to participate in the experience of her brother's birth. I figured what better form of birth control? After speaking with professionals, we decided it was a fantastic idea! It turns out she has a talent for being a nurturer herself.
She jumped right in there, coaching and comforting and snapping a few shots in between ;)
It was then, that I embarked on this new journey and haven't looked back. As a matter of fact, I love so much being on call and waking in the midst of the night that I've worked toward obtaining my Doula certification as well. Now I get the best of both worlds. I am blessed.

We really had alot of fun, it hardly seemed like taking pictures for the girls. It was so different than taking them to a studio and posing for pictures. (which is exactly what I wanted--something more natural) Thanks again! --V.B.
